It’s going to be a record-breaking year for a disc golf tournament coming to Manitowoc.
The 2025 Professional Disc Golf Association’s United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship (USWDGC) takes place June 19th through the 22nd at Silver Creek Park and Rollin Ridge Disc Golf Course.
There will be more than 373 competitors attending, which smashes the previous record of 346 competitors during last year’s championship in Austin, Texas.
The Women’s Disc Golf Championship is anticipated to generate over $680,000 in local economic impact through tourism, but will also showcase the incredible talent within women’s disc golf.
The tournament will utilize Lower Cato Falls Park, which has been upgraded with new baskets and park amenities.
Spectators can purchase passes for the events for $15 a day or $50 for the full event.
The USWDCG will also have unique social events at local businesses like Tapped on the Lakeshore, Petskull Brewery, and Meadow Lanes West.
