U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin will be in Green Bay this morning as a part of her “Hands Off Medicaid Tour.”
Sen. Baldwin will be joined by several impacted constituents, including Barb Rich and her son Andy Jung from Manitowoc, at Curative Connections, located at 2900 Curry Lane.
The group, along with President & CEO of Curative Connections Jeanne Stangel, will discuss a Republican backed plan they say will “slash Medicaid and threaten to take away health care from Wisconsinites to pay for tax breaks for the wealthy.”
Baldwin states that Medicaid provides care for more than 1.2 million people in Wisconsin, including four in seven nursing home residents, one in three children, and one in three adults with disabilities.
The roundtable discussion will begin at 10:00 a.m.
