A Wisconsin teenager accused of killing his mother and stepfather will face trial.
Nikita Casap appeared in Waukesha County court for a preliminary hearing, where a judge found probable cause to proceed with felony charges.
Casap is charged with two counts of first-degree homicide in connection with the February deaths of his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer.
Authorities say he fled the scene in his parents’ vehicle and was later apprehended in Kansas after crossing multiple states.
Casap is scheduled to return to court early next month to enter his pleas.
