Alyssa Ahrens and Hunter Drefahl are facing multiple charges, including sexual assault of a minor and possession of child pornography.
Law enforcement responded to a residence on South Madison Street Sunday morning after receiving reports that Florencia Henthorn, a 14-year-old girl, had sustained a gunshot wound to her head.
Tragically, she later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
Investigators discovered that both Drefahl and Ahrens had been involved in sexual contact with Henthorn and had shared explicit recordings.
