The former Sheboygan Falls Assistant Fire Chief accused of sexually assaulting a child is set to appear in court.
45-year-old John P. Albright will be back in court today (April 9th) for a status conference in Sheboygan County.
Albright was charged in September of last year with Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, a felony offense punishable by up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
The former Assistant Fire Chief’s bond was initially set at $150,000 cash before being lowered three times to $25,000, which he posted in December.
When first announced by the Sheboygan Falls Fire Department in September, it was announced that the 45-year-old was under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting a child under the age of 16.
Albright has pled not guilty to the lone charge he faces.
