Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for a reckless motorcyclist who evaded arrest in Fond du Lac County.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop three motorcyclists who were speeding excessively and endangering others on Saturday (April 5th) in the Town of Byron on Interstate 41.
At the time, the three were observed driving at approximately 90 MPH.
Not long after, they were seen running a red light in the City of Fond du Lac and later located at Lakeside Park.
However, when deputies attempted to make contact with the three individuals, they fled, hitting 124 MPH.
This information was passed off to neighboring law enforcement agencies, including the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, which located one of the three motorcycles but failed to stop them.
A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper then observed the same fleeing motorcyclist back in Fond du Lac County near County Highway OO traveling at 134 MPH on I-41.
Two of the reckless motorcyclists have been identified, however, one still remains at large.
Anyone with information on where that individual may be is urged to contact the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office at 920-929-3390.
