Fire officials are investigating the cause of a deadly fire that claimed the life of a man in Caledonia.
The blaze occurred early yesterday morning near the intersection of Nicholson and 7 Mile Roads, destroying a shed.
The victim has been identified by family members as Jeff Smith.
In the wake of the tragedy, Smith’s family has launched a GoFundMe campaign, which has already raised over $1,300.
Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
