Candidates interested in becoming the next city manager of Two Rivers are being asked to apply.
Public Administration Associates (PAA), who are working with the city council, have placed an ad for the position with applications being due by April 28th.
Current City Manager Greg Buckley explains that the plan is to narrow candidates down from 10 to 12 semifinalists before finding the best three to five people.
They would come to Two Rivers around the end of May for tours, meetings with city staff, and a reception to meet members of the public.
PAA would then work with a special committee and the full council to identify a top candidate to help run the Cool City.
Buckley announced last year that he will be retiring in what would be his 30th year in the job.
His last day will be in early August, not far from when he took the job back in 1996.
