The Wisconsin Joint Finance Committee will be holding listening sessions across the state, including in Kaukauna.
The Committee’s listening session will take place today (April 2nd) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Kaukauna High School auxiliary gymnasium.
Additional listening sessions will be held throughout the month of April in West Allis, Hayward, and Wausau.
These listening sessions are open to the public and are intended to allow residents to find out more about Governor Tony Evers’ proposed 2025-2026 budget.
Residents can ask committee members questions, learn how the budget may impact them, and more.
Those unable to attend any of these listening sessions are encouraged to submit comments to the Joint Finance Committee via email at budget.comments@legis.wisconsin.gov or online by visiting legis.wisconsin.gov.
