Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry (WAF) continues its expansion by acquiring a Michigan company.
Anderson Global, a premier North American aluminum foundry in Muskegon, Michigan, was acquired by WAF.
The Manitowoc company explains that the acquisition reflects optimism for the aluminum foundry industry and expands its tooling, casting, and machining capabilities across various sectors.
CEO Sachin Shivaram says, “We look forward to investing in the people, technology, and equipment that will enable Anderson Global to thrive for decades to come.”
The company was founded more than 40 years ago by John and Besty McIntyre and includes over 50 journeymen machinists, a deep bend of world-class engineering talent, and advanced machine assets.
Anderson Global will continue operating as a standalone subsidiary within WAF’s portfolio, while all 80 team members will continue working under WAF ownership.
