
On election day, Sheboygan residents have some big decisions to make on their ballots.
Today (April 1st) is election day, and polls will open at 7:00 a.m. across the state.
The biggest decision on the ballot in the City of Sheboygan will be the Mayoral race, which pits incumbent Ryan Sorenson seeking reelection against City Alder John Belanger.
The Common Council will also have seats up for grabs today as Ryan Meyer is running against Ryan Menzer in District One, Daniel Peterson and Micheal Close running in District Three, and incumbent Grazia Perella taking on Juan Perez in District Seven.
Susie Boorse and Alder Trey Mitchell will also be running unopposed in Districts Five and Nine, respectively.
The Sheboygan Area School District will also have seats on the Board decided today, as candidates Allie Tasche, Roger Oliver, Mary Lynne Donohue, Rhonda Brami, and Denise Wittstock are all running.
State races on the ballot will also include State Superintendent and a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Incumbent State Superintendent Jill Underly is taking on Brittney Kinser while Susan Crawford and Brad Schimel look to join the state Supreme Court.
