
One person has died following a motorcycle crash in Fond du Lac over the weekend.
The Fond du Lac Police Department was dispatched to the crash in the 600 block of South Main Street on Friday (March 28th).
Initial information gathered by officers has led them to believe the motorcycle, driven by a 26-year-old Eden man, was traveling northbound on Main Street crashed into another vehicle traveling north, driven by a 67-year-old man from the City of Fond du Lac.
The unidentified 26-year-old was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the Fond du Lac man sustained no injuries.
At the hospital, the 26-year-old later passed away as a result of his injuries from the crash.
Fond du Lac PD and the Sheriff’s Office have conducted an accident reconstruction on South Main Street between 15th Street and Guindon Boulevard, and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
At this time, no additional details are set to be released.
