A local nature preserve is accepting registrants for its upcoming summer camps.
Woodland Dunes Nature Preserve runs the summer camp from June through August for children ages 4-15.
The camps will help kids foster a deeper connection to the natural world through exploration, hands-on activities, and playing in the preserve.
Communications Coordinator Nancy Nabak says, “It’s about the kids learning and having fun in the outdoors when the natural world is full of activity.”
The camps include hiking and digging around the preserve for young children while teens can learn about nature art and see the stars at night.
