The Manitowoc County Historical Society is looking to praise the hard work of its dedicated volunteers and get a few more.
On April 16th from 11:30 until 12:30 p.m. the local organization will host a Volunteer Open House and Luncheon at Pinecrest Historical Village.
Guests in attendance will learn all about the volunteer opportunities available at the Historical Society including youth and public education programs, archives data entry, building repairs, grounds work, and guest services.
Dedicated volunteer team members will also be thanked for all their efforts to strengthen the museum’s mission.
In addition to the luncheon and guest speakers, potential volunteers and guests can walk the grounds, check out the historic structures, and celebrate National Volunteer Week.
Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to the Historical Society’s Engagement Manager at (920) 684-4445 or guestservices@manitowoccountyhistory.org.
