A surgical center in Ashwaubenon has received an award from The Center for Health Design.
The Bellin Health Surgery & Specialty Center and partner HGA was named a recipient of the Platinum Touchstone Award, which honors projects that demonstrate the most impactful evidence-based design processes.
As part of the design process, HGA worked with more than 100 interdisciplinary team members to ensure Bellin SSC was as welcoming of a space as possible.
Emplify Health by Bellin Senior Vice President of Specialty Service Lines Jen Macdonald explained, “Through the research, design and construction, the SSC is able to provide a space for patients to receive care for a variety of services under one roof, while providing a collaborative space for their healthcare teams. Receiving this award recognizes not only the work done, but also all the great work that will come from it.”
Bellin SSC also recently celebrated its one-year anniversary.
