A student at Kaukauna High School will be joining 32 other students from around the state as a part of the 2025 session of the Senate Scholar program.
Senator Andre Jacque announced the inclusion of McKenna Maronn in the program, which is running this week.
Students from each of the 33 Senate Districts are in Madison to learn more about how the government works.
The scholars will experience a wide array of educational sessions, including roundtable discussions with legislative support agency directors and staff, media, and lobbyists throughout the week.
Sen. Jacque also noted that “The Senate Scholar Program is a leading educational initiative designed to challenge Wisconsin’s best high school juniors and seniors who are interested in the state legislative process. I know that McKenna will learn so much from this truly unique, hands-on educational experience.”
