The Rahr-West Art Museum in Manitowoc is set to honor a world-renowned artist.
As part of its 75th-anniversary celebration, the museum will be hosting a day of programming in honor of the gem of its collection, “Birch and Pine No. 2,” by Georgia O’Keeffe.
The painting was completed in 1925 and has been a part of the Rahr-West collection since it was gifted by Mrs. John D. West in 1990.
On May 15th, the public is invited to enjoy Tea in the Mansion, a presentation called Art of Conversation with P.D. Young, and a Ribbon Cutting with the Chamber of Manitowoc County, all in conjunction with the exhibit 100 Years of Birch and Pine No 2.
The exhibit will be on display through November 2nd.
