A man from Fond du Lac County has been charged with possessing child pornography.
Court records show 38-year-old Alan Douglas of Ripon has been charged with 10 felony counts of Possession of Child Pornography in Dodge County.
Douglas made his initial appearance in court last week, where he officially received his charges and was given a $3,000 cash bond, which he has since posted.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was assigned to an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Following the investigation, the 38-year-old was arrested and transported to the county jail.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office’s investigation into the incident remains ongoing with assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations Digital Forensics Unit.
Douglas is scheduled to return to court in Dodge County on Thursday (March 13th) for his preliminary hearing.
