A new furry officer has joined the ranks of the Manitowoc Police Department.
Officer Schleis and his K9 companion Rolo recently returned from training in Canada and have begun their patrol duties.
Rolo is a Belgian Malinois and underwent K9 training at WorkingK9 in Beeton, Ontario.
The duo will be working 3rd shift and are “thrilled to be back in Manitowoc and (are) eager to begin their duties.”
K9 Rolo joins the team after the recent retirement of K9 Neko after eight years of dedicated service to the Clipper City.
