The Wisconsin Department of Corrections has confirmed that 23-year-old Damien Evans is the seventh person to die in Waupun prison within the past two years.
The death occurred Tuesday afternoon, and officials from the prison are investigating.
Over the last couple of years, inmates have expressed concerns about the conditions within the facility.
