The man known as “Uncle Fester” won’t be going to trial next week as was originally planned.
Court records show that there was an unopposed motion to adjourn the trial during a court hearing for Stephen Preisler yesterday (March 3rd).
WBAY reports that his new trial date has been set for October 7th.
Preisler is due back in court on June 2nd.
He was arrested in 2023 after Green Bay Police say they found around $65,000 worth of drugs, chemicals, and equipment to make other drugs.
Preisler gained notoriety under his pen name Uncle Fester for writing books that explain how to manufacture ricin and meth among others.
Preisler has argued that allegations against him are not correct because police didn’t identify items correctly when they searched his home.
