Manitowoc Public School District’s interim superintendent wants to become the district’s full-time superintendent.
Lee Thennes tells SeehaferNews.com that he put in his application to be considered as a candidate as the district is looking for a full-time superintendent.
Thennes has been in the district for a number of years, teaching social studies and being a principal at two of the schools.
The Board of Education is taking applications until this Friday (March 7th) for those interested in becoming the next head of the Manitowoc Public School District.
Initial interviews will begin at the end of the month before finalists are picked, and interviews will be on April 4th.
The Wisconsin Association of School Boards is also helping the district in the process.
