It was another successful year for an annual telethon that raises money for those with disabilities.
WBAY reports that the CP Telethon raised about $1.28 million, just shy of breaking last year’s record by $180,000.
Businesses from all around eastern Wisconsin, including some from Manitowoc, were at the telethon to take people’s calls for donations for those with disabilities and their families.
All the money raised stays in Wisconsin and goes toward services like aquatics therapy, childcare, and more for over 2,100 families.
