One of the Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates is coming to Manitowoc County.
The Republican Party of Manitowoc County announced that they will host a meet and greet with Brad Schimel, who’s running for an open seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
It takes place at their party headquarters at 114 N. 8th Street in Manitowoc next Saturday (March 8th) at 3:00 pm.
According to the party, the event provides an opportunity for community members to hear directly from Schimel about his vision for the court and his commitment to upholding the rule of law.
Schimel is a former Wisconsin Attorney General and current Waukesha County Circuit Court judge.
The Manitowoc County Republican Party says his campaign focuses on ensuring an impartial judiciary that serves the people of Wisconsin.
He’s running against Dane County Judge Susan Crawford in the Spring General Election, which takes place on April 1st.
Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley decided not to run again for another 10-year term.
