A fire at a residence in Onalaska has resulted in one fatality.
Firefighters quickly responded to the scene and launched an aggressive attack on the blaze.
During their search of the house, they found a person inside who later succumbed to their injuries.
The fire caused extensive damage but was brought under control within 30 minutes.
Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
