Chippewa Falls police are investigating a series of crimes that occurred overnight in the area.
Police Chief Ryan Douglas confirmed that several residents on the east side of town reported damage to their mailboxes, with Rural Street being identified as the focal point of the vandalism.
While investigating, authorities also discovered that multiple vehicles had been broken into or stolen.
A suspect is in custody, but police are still working to identify any additional individuals involved in the crimes.
