An annual fundraising basketball game is set for this weekend in Oshkosh.
The 6th annual Boots vs Badges basketball game will be held on Saturday (March 1st) at 2:15 p.m. inside the Oshkosh Arena, home of the Wisconsin Herd.
The game will have Deputies with the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, the Badges, taking on the Boots, firefighters with the Oshkosh Fire Department.
In addition to being a showcase for heroes in the community, proceeds raised at the game will go back to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit and the Oshkosh Dive-Rescue Team.
Following the game, a check and trophy presentation will take place before the Herd battle with the Toronto Raptors G-League affiliate.
Tickets to attend the Boots vs Badges game and the Wisconsin Herd game can be purchased online with prices beginning at $12 a ticket.
