Those who would like to learn more about the Manitowoc Public School District’s referendum on the upcoming spring ballot are invited to a set of informational sessions.
The MPSD will host a virtual meeting on March 5th, followed by in-person sessions in the Lincoln High School Auditorium on March 12th and the Wilson Middle School Auditorium on March 19th.
The sessions are designed to give details surrounding the $25 million referendum, which they say will go towards addressing “critical facilities maintenance, safety, security and building infrastructure needs.”
Interim-Superintendent Lee Thennes said in a news release, “The district truly values all MPSD community members and believes that everyone’s engagement in this process is important.”
Thennes encouraged all residents to attend any or all of the Community Information Sessions to be fully informed.
