Manitowoc Police have given more information about a social media threat at Roncalli Middle School yesterday (February 25th).
After being made aware of the threat, officers identified a juvenile suspect and took them into custody.
The juvenile is now charged with Terroristic Threats and has been placed in secure detention.
MPD thanked Roncalli for their assistance in identifying the suspect and working with the department to make sure students have a safe learning environment.
They also thank the parents and citizens who gave information to Manitowoc Police.
Lieutenant Mark Schroeder finishes by saying that the department values the safety of children and will not tolerate any actions or threats against them.
