The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is accepting artwork submissions for its annual stamp design contest.
Entries for the Wild Turkey, Pheasant, and Waterfowl Stamp Design Contests are now open to any interested artists.
Every year, artists from across the state compete for an opportunity to commemorate their work and promote wildlife conservation in Wisconsin.
Winners will have their artwork appear on the DNR’s 2026 collection of stamps. Hunters in Wisconsin are also required to purchase one of these species-specific types of stamps to legally harvest any of the game birds featured on said stamps.
These sales generate hundreds of thousands of dollars annually which help aid species management, restoration projects, and many other causes.
Submissions must be received or postmarked by August 1st of this year to be considered while winners are picked on August 23rd at the Waterfowl Hunters Expo in Oshkosh.
More information on the Wild Turkey, Pheasant, and Waterfowl Stamp Design Contests and submission process can be found online at dnr.wisconsin.gov.
