A conditional use permit for a prominent business in Sheboygan will be up for discussion at an upcoming governmental meeting in the city.
Sheboygan’s City Plan Commission will meet today (February 25th) at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
On their agenda tonight will be a conditional use permit submitted by Old World Creamery to construct a new addition to their facility located at 1606 Erie Avenue.
The new addition is a proposed 15,000 square foot dry storage building which would serve as dry storage for Old World Creamery’s packaging materials.
This new building would be built along St. Claire Avenue on the existing property’s northside.
This would be the second expansion project for the business in recent years, having completed a similar addition in 2022 after moving into the former Dean’s Dairy Plant in 2016.
Agenda minutes show that city staff recommend approval of the conditional use permit, and if it is approved tonight, it will move in front of the Common Council to receive final approval in the future.
