
A Milwaukee man has been sentenced following a crime spree in Brown County.
Court records show that 26-year-old Steave A. Daniels was present in a Brown County courtroom on Friday (February 21st) for his sentencing hearing.
Daniels was previously convicted due to no contest pleas on charges of Armed Robbery, Attempted Armed Robbery, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Operating a Vehicle Without Consent on December 13th of last year.
FOX11 reports that the 26-year-old was sentenced to spend 15 years in prison followed by 14 of extended supervision by Judge Marc Hammer.
It is reported that Daniels and another suspect, Michael Winfield, robbed a convenience store at gunpoint in Howard on April 7th, 2024, stole a vehicle in Bellevue the following day, attempted to rob a second convenience store in Bellevue, and robbed a third before being arrested on April 8th.
The crime spree spanned 20 hours with police finding evidence tying the two individuals to the incidents in the stolen vehicle and an apartment.
Winfield will return to court on June 9th for a plea hearing.
