Manitowoc Public Utilities Contingent Travels to Washington D.C.

A majority of the Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission is in Washington D.C. this week to speak with legislators.

The American Public Power Association is hosting a legislative rally, which began Monday (February 24^th) and runs through Wednesday, where they will address topics important to utility organizations around the country.

MPU General Manager Troy Adams tells SeehaferNews.com that the local contingency is specifically focusing on protecting municipal bonds and electric reliability, defending elective payment tax credits, enacting energy permitting reform, and supply chain problems.
