Wisconsin’s Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has begun accepting applications for its youth council.
2025-26 Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council applications will be open until March 31st for high school juniors.
The DATCP seeks 15 members for the council with at least one member representing each of the nine council districts with Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Brown, Calumet, and Fond du Lac Counties falling into the East Central District.
Applicants are requested to complete an online form including skills, experience, and a one-minute application video as well.
The goals of the youth council include highlighting the agricultural-related career opportunities to high school students in the state, sharing state tools available to Wisconsin farmers, providing insight, and increasing networking opportunities for participants.
