Sheboygan’s Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced its road improvement projects scheduled for 2025.
The majority of the projects will be asphalt overlays on city streets aimed at improving road conditions, safety for motorists and pedestrians, and transportation infrastructure.
These asphalt overlay improvements will include Ontario Avenue from North 10th to North 12th Streets, South 7th Street from Mead to Union Avenues, and Dillingham Avenue from South 8th to South 12th Streets, amongst numerous others.
The Engineering Division of the DPW will also be completing some non-asphalt overlay projects, which include the intersection of North Taylor Drive and Wilgus Avenue, where new traffic signals will be installed.
They will also replace damaged concrete on South 18th Street between Washington and Mead Avenues.
Currently, a timeline for these projects is still in the planning process and the DPW will share more details on when they will start in the future.
