A student in De Pere is one of three student winners of a Wisconsin Business World competition.
The twice-annual Kwik Trip Innovation Competition tasked students to innovate a new product for the convenience store chain, create a marketing plan, and present the idea in the format of their choice.
Freshman Caleb Riebe of De Pere High School created Kwik Treats, dog treats for people who bring their dogs with them.
The contest is open to Wisconsin students in grades 6-12 and all projects were submitted between October 2024 and January 2025.
Riebe along with two other students won a $500 cash prize for their ideas.
The other students came from Mount Horeb High School and Waunakee Middle School.
