A fire in Waunakee has claimed one life.
The blaze occurred on Wednesday night, but the victim’s body was only discovered by firefighters yesterday afternoon.
The fire took place in a rural area off Meffert Road.
Multiple fire crews responded to the scene, and authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
