The local branch of Habitat for Humanity is inviting the public to warm up with a bowl of chili next month.
Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity will be at First Lutheran Church on North 8th Street in Manitowoc on March 29th for the annual Spring Chili Warm-up & Bake Sale.
Guests will get a bowl of chili, a dessert, and a beverage at a cost of $8 for adults and $4 for children.
Hot dogs will also be available for $2 apiece.
Volunteers will be needed on March 28 from noon to 3:00 p.m. to help with the preparation of the chili and setting up tables, and on March 29th, beginning at 8:30 a.m., to assist with the serving of the chili and clean up after the event.
