The awardees of the FORWARD Endowment through the Manitowoc Unit of Fish and Game have been announced.
Carstens Lake Fishing Pier and Member Development through the Manitowoc County Fish and Game received a portion of the endowment as well as Friends of Camp Tapawingo and CEI Inc. of Manitowoc County.
While groups applied for the endowment, Manitowoc Fish and Game says the number of requests was down from 2024 and that funds were still available.
The organization moved to a new unitrust format that provides more funding for projects in 2023.
Over $160,000 has been provided by the FORWARD Endowment in Manitowoc County since its inception.
