Two teens are facing charges for making threats to carry out a school shooting in Campbellsport.
WBAY reports that the two unnamed teens appeared inside a Fond du Lac County courtroom yesterday (February 19th) for a detention hearing.
The judge in their case ruled that there was probable cause, however, did allow for both 9th grade students to return home.
As we previously reported, investigations showed that the two teens made comments and threats to both staff and fellow students involving plans to conduct a school shooting at Campbellsport High School.
Both teenagers were arrested and placed in secure detention ahead of yesterday’s hearing.
Due to both individuals being minors, it is uncertain what charges the two are facing.
One of the two will return to court on March 3rd while the second teen will have a waiver hearing via Zoom on March 10th.
