Students at Lakeland University were selected to perform in a statewide honor band.
The 2025 Wisconsin Concert Band Association Intercollegiate Honor Band recently performed at UW-Whitewater’s Greenhill Center of the Arts and included three students studying music at Lakeland.
Ashley Esser from Arpin, Wisconsin, performed on the French Horn, Paige Pierson of Fredonia on the flute, and Maddie Klauer, hailing from Fort Atkinson, was on the clarinet.
Esser and Pierson were previously selected to perform with the honor band; however, Klauer made her debut with the group while performing on the campus of UW-Whitewater.
Both Klauer and Pierson are education majors at Lakeland, while Esser is pursuing a degree in music composition.
