In the race for the Manitowoc Public School Board, seven candidates were slimmed down to six.

The battle for the fifth and sixth spots on the general election ballot was very tight. Only 19 votes separated Chrystal Myer, Brayden Myer, and Michael Retzinger.
In the end, it was Myer and Myer receiving 793 and 782 votes, while Retzinger just missed moving on with 774.
State Superintendent, the largest state race on the ballot, saw Jill Underly and Brittney Kinser advance to the general election after securing 177,098 and 160,966 votes statewide.
Challenger Jeff Wright ended the day with 127,968 votes.
Manitowoc County followed a similar voting pattern, but actually put Kinser on top with 2,389, while Underly received 2,058 locally.
