The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble Association has named the winner of the 2025 Wesley Teply Community Service Award in the Arts.
This year’s honor has been awarded to the Holy Family Conservatory of Music.
They have earned the distinction for their significant contribution to the arts over the past 100 years.
Founded in 1925, the Conservatory will be celebrating 100 years of providing music instruction to the community in December later this year.
The award is set to be awarded to Sister Carol Ann Gambsky and Doctor Stanislava Varshavski at the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble’s “Winds of March: The Best of the Best” performance at the Capitol Civic Center on March 1st.
On winning the award, the Conservatory has said, “We at Holy Family Conservatory of Music are honored to be a contributing organization among the countless number of other people and organizations who support and appreciate the arts in so many various ways.”
Over the years, more than 13,000 students have studied at the conservatory in various instruments, and 150 students of all ages are currently enrolled.
