A future court date has been set for one of the Random Lake teens charged with child sexual assault.
17-year-old Cole Guttman was in court on Monday (February 17th) for a scheduling conference as he and another teen are facing charges of First-Degree Child Sexual Assault – Sexual Contact or Intercourse with a person under the age of 13, Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, and two counts of Incest with a Child amongst other charges.
At Monday’s hearing, Guttman’s attorney did not receive an offer from the state, but they will meet tomorrow (February 20th) for a status conference to further discuss a possible resolution.
The other teen charged, 16-year-old Spencer Dietrich, is facing additional charges of Child Abuse – Intentionally Causing Harm along with two counts each of False Imprisonment and Intimidation of a Victim with the Use of Force.
Guttman and Dietrich have been alleged to have forced two young brothers into engaging in sexual acts with each other, recorded it, and then distributed the video to others.
Dietrich returns to court in Sheboygan County on March 31st for his final pre-trial hearing before his April 21st trial date while Guttman returns tomorrow for the aforementioned status conference.
