A Town of Schleswig man charged with stealing copper is going to plead in his case.
Court documents show that a March 12th plea date was set for 43-year-old Mark Plagemann.
He was arrested in October last year after a three-week-long investigation of copper thefts by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office.
Plagemann became part of the investigation after $30,000 in copper was stolen from a business.
What he was using it for is unknown.
Plagemann is facing two charges of theft of moveable property.
His original bond was set at $2,500 cash, but he was able to furnish it after his arrest.
He first pleaded not guilty to the charges in November last year.
