The woman charged in an animal death case is still in the Manitowoc County Jail.
24-year-old Elizabeth C. Rahmlow was given a $2,500 cash bond on charges of Mistreating Animals Resulting in Death, and Abandoning Animals, which she has yet to furnish.
The Two Rivers Police Department opened an investigation after a canine was found deceased in a kennel inside an unoccupied apartment.
Rahmlow was identified as the dog’s owner and was subsequently arrested.
As a part of her bond, Rahmlow was ordered to have no contact with animals of any type.
She is due for her initial appearance next week Monday (February 24th).
