Two teenagers from Random Lake have been charged with numerous child sex crimes.
Sheboygan County court records show that 17-year-old Cole Guttmann and 16-year-old Spencer Dietrich have both been charged with First-Degree Child Sexual Assault – Sexual Contact or Intercourse with a person under the age of 13, Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, and two counts of Incest with a Child.
Guttman faces additional charges of Child Sexual Exploitation – Videos or Records of a Minor as well as Possession and Exhibition of Child Pornography.
Additional charges for Dietrich include Child Abuse – Intentionally Causing Harm along with two counts each of False Imprisonment and Intimidation of a Victim with the Use of Force.
Initial reports say that the teens forced two young brothers into engaging in sexual acts with eachother, recorded it, and then distributed the video to others.
When the complaint was filed last March, the Random Lake School District Superintendent Michael Trimberger released a statement regarding the incident during a school board meeting, saying, “Besides being aware of an ongoing investigation by our local authorities, the district has no information that we can share or connection since this is an event that happened outside of the school day.”
Dietrich’s original $75,000 bond was lowered to $25,000, which he has since posted.
Guttman’s bond, originally placed at $50,000, was also lowered to $25,000 which he posted back in November.
Guttman will be back in court later today (February 17th) for a scheduling conference while Dietrich returns on March 31st for his final pre-trial hearing before his trial which begins on April 21st.
