A teenager was fatally shot Thursday in a tragic incident on Madison’s east side.
Authorities responded to a call about the shooting, which took place in a parking lot on 200 Thompson Drive.
The 18-year-old victim died at the scene, while a 16-year-old bystander was injured with a gunshot to the leg and is now in stable condition.
Several other people were present at the time of the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
