Last week’s snowy weather caused a crash on Interstate 43 in Manitowoc County.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office reports that a white semi was driving northbound on the I-43 north of Homestead Road in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids and had to hit the brakes because another semi switched lane was too close in front of the truck.
The semi slid into the median and flipped onto the passenger’s side.
The semi had to be towed out of the median but didn’t receive any major damage.
The driver was uninjured.
Sheriff’s deputies said in their report that speed played a factor in the crash.
There were no reports of major crashes that happened during this weekend’s snowstorm.
