The owner of a Sheboygan business and their store manager have been selected to speak at the Game Manufacturers Association’s GAMA Expo.
Lynn Potyen, the owner of The GameBoard, and J.J. Hameister will be in Louisville Kentucky to give a seminar entitled “Curating a Diverse Board Game Selection” next Monday (February 24th).
Potyen will take the stage by herself for a presentation titled “Playing for the Health of it”, and will join a panel discussion about “Adding Toys to a Game Store.”
Potyen reacted to being selected to speak by saying, “When we have the opportunity to share what we have learned, what has worked to benefit the customers we serve, we always try to step up and support others in our industry.”
Potyen says she is especially looking forward to talking to the industry about the positive impacts board games have on brain health.
